AC2020

I was impressed by the variety and number of research going on in the Arctic region. The poster session is a great opportunity for researchers to display their work event if they are not necessarily presenting at a session.

Overall, the conference went exceptionally well: the highlight was the poster displays, which the presenters were available to answer questions relating their project. Meeting new people and linking with possible stakeholders outside Nunavut and the entertainment. Thank you for the wonderful opportunity!

My students had the opportunity to interact with other researchers and gain valuable feedback on the work they are doing. The topical sessions were excellent and gave a really good range of options.

The most important aspect of Conference for me was coming together and seeing where everyone is at in terms in our understanding of climate change and how the Arctic is being affected and will affect the earth, and most importantly how we can solve it.

Person 5

I attended primarily for a side meeting. The most important aspect of the Conference for me was the time taken to speak to other participants on topics of new research findings and collaborations.

Person 4

You guys are the best conference organizers in the Arctic science world

Person 3

Networking opportunities with the Who's who of Arctic research in Canada. A great snapshot of Canadian Arctic research in one place. Major involvement and participation of indigenous researchers and stakeholders is unique to the AN conference.

Person 2

The amazing mix of Arctic researchers, which allows for meetings with current collaborators, colleagues, and networking to set up new collaborations. This aspect in invaluable.
