Side Meetings and Workshops

Rooms have been set aside at the Shaw Centre for this much appreciated component of the conference, however, we encourage you to submit your request as early as possible considering the number of rooms is limited.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN A SIDE MEETING PACKAGE?

Meeting room space, wifi, and projector-screen are complimentary as well as conference coffee breaks and lunch served in the Gatineau Salon and Trillium Ballroom. Any additional equipment or special set-ups will need to be ordered directly with the service provider. Note that catering served directly in the meeting rooms is not included in this package and must be ordered directly with the venue. You will receive clear directives in the event you wish to order services exceeding our complimentary package. Note that our contracted rates will be extended to your organization.

WHO IS WELCOME TO ATTEND AND IS THERE A REGISTRATION FEE?

All are welcome to attend a workshop or side meeting, however, the following guidelines for registration apply:

ASM2018 delegates – no extra fee or registration required.
Non ASM2018 attendees

Full day meetings – a $50 registration fee applies (after completing your Side Meeting Form, you will receive an email with specific directives on registration).
Half day meetings – unless your participants will be attending the conference lunch either preceding or following your meeting, no registration or fee applies.
