Over 1500 experts from around the world will convene in Quebec City to discuss the many issues resulting from climate change and modernization in the Arctic. This 5-day conference will explore the latest findings in Arctic research, touching on topics such as dwindling sea ice, community health and education, changing wildlife habitats, international boundary disputes, commercial shipping, and resource exploitation. Hosted by ArcticNet, a Canadian Network of Centres of Excellence, in collaboration with its national and international partners, the event will be one of the largest international Arctic science meetings ever held in Canada.

Media accreditation for the conference is reserved for members of the press (print, photo, radio, TV, film, online, and news agencies). Registration to attend conference sessions is free of charge to members of the media who are in possession of a valid, recognized press card. Please note that media accreditation does not include access to lunches or the Thursday evening banquet.
